Beau von Benedikt is a beautiful 2-3 year old Shepherd mix. With his silky jet-black fur, it is impossible to miss this beauty strutting down the street. But what Beau is really known for around Westside is his larger-than-life personality. Our mid-energy hunk exits his kennel like a racehorse when it’s times for walks -- that’s how much he loves being outside and exploring with you. His polite leash manners make him a great walking companion. He meets other dogs calmly and nonchalantly. Beau is a sweetheart who really thrives on getting his belly rubbed and his back scratched. He absolutely adores his humans and has our kennel staff and volunteers head over heels in love with him. In playgroups, Beau enters with his signature tail wags and meets everyone perfectly. He is the embodiment of excellent manners. He respects the other dogs’ spaces and prefers to hang out with the calmer dogs. He comes back to his humans periodically for some head scratches and praise. Beau is likely housebroken and will be a wonderful addition to any lucky family who adopts this sweet, handsome boy.
